Empowering WNY Youth: Building Futures Together

COMPASSION IN ACTION FOR WESTERN NEW YORK KIDS.

ABOUT US

Meet Bella Zivis and Kaylee Burr, visionary  co-founders of Helping Kids of WNY! As dedicated lifelong residents of Western New York’s dynamic community, we’ve been immersed in the region’s rich cultural tapestry and collaborative spirit. Through our formative years, we witnessed both the extraordinary resilience of local families and recognized the systemic challenges confronting underserved youth in our community. Now, as experienced child development professionals, we intimately understand the multifaceted obstacles children navigate daily—from accessing fundamental resources and educational opportunities to securing comprehensive developmental support and gaining the empowerment essential for achieving their aspirations. We’ve observed firsthand their limitless potential and the transformative impact that strategic intervention and community support can have on their developmental journey. Our grassroots initiative emerged from this profound understanding, driven by our unwavering commitment to fostering positive change in Western New York’s youth community.
